Our client is best described as laid back, diverse, and extremely hard working . If they spend time on being uber serious about anything it would be creating world class customer happiness, and building amazing technology. They are out of the box people who love what they do, how they do it, and are very easy to work with.
They are located in Central Boulder, they have beer on tap, love hackathons and building/taking care of the community where they work and play. Did we mention they love what they do?
You will build high quality full stack Ruby/Rails code using TDD/BDD, work with customers, and work with other engineers on multiple projects. Diversity of projects really is the name of the game here – you may work on projects for customers who want to save the world one day and the next few weeks you may help a new startup build out their idea. If you like diversity of projects and ideas, this job is for you. Oh, you should also be a nice person.
Pay is in the range of 65-85, depending on your experience and ability to deliver. Show a very active github account with quality code and you’ll likely be at the top end of this range.
Skills we’re looking for
– Proven experience in Ruby/Rails
– Superior ability to communicate with customers – everyone talks to the customers here!
– Ability to estimate accurately the amount of time it takes you to get a project done
– As mentioned earlier, work in github is always a plus [https://technicalintegrity.com/omg-how-do-i-prove-i-can-do-this-rails-job/]

Who we are
Candidates, please take note. We’re a small professional placement firm focused on making a difference in our community and in the world. We give back literally and figuratively, because it’s the right thing to do.
We don’t identify with the sales-y approach that this industry is known for, and we aren’t pushy. We pride ourselves on having a candid, honest, straightforward conversation around cultural and technical matching. We also love to understand what you are passionate about.
We focus on making sure that the jobs we discuss are a good match for you AND for the client. This means that if it’s not a great match, we’ll tell you. If it’s a good match, we’ll ASK YOU to decide whether you want to talk to our client, after we tell you who they are and let you do your own research.
We believe our collaborative, honest approach is the right way to do things, and we think you’ll agree.
We do indeed get paid to do our jobs and we’re good at it, but our job is about building out the teams that our clients NEED and not putting butts in seats. There is no doubt that we are a quality over quantity firm.
We do things differently, on purpose.
