Technical Integrity is actively seeking a Senior Network Design Engineer for our client in Broomfield, Colorado. Our client has created a powerful niche for itself in the Big Data realm, and they are expanding rapidly with a unique cloud-based storage solution for it’s global audience. This Network Engineer will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of the new cloud-based technology in Colorado and overseas. Overall the role will focus 50% on design and 50% on implementation. This opportunity has a great deal of room for growth. Perhaps more importantly, this role has a very high degree of visibility within the company and will have a tremendous impact on the company’s direction with regards to design, replication and enhancement. - HP Networking Experience – In particular, 3COM A Series Products- sorry, Cisco not preferred in this case.
- 1-2 years experience with Palo Alto Firewalls
- Strong exposure to Network Security and Intrusion Detection
- Excellent support experience with VLANs, IPsec, MPLS/VPN
- Superior Layer 2 and 3 Routing skills
- Mid-level Microsoft Server 2008 troubleshooting skills
- Very strong documentation skills and Architectural/Design skills in Visio
- Responsible for ongoing systems infrastructure management and planning of geographically distributed, third-party hosted in-production systems
- Execution of defined change control procedures, maintenance windows and providing feedback on any infrastructure modifications required or planned
- Responsible for customer escalation, problem resolution and root cause analysis communicating internally to immediate management, product management, development, marketing and directly with effected customers
- Monitor solution management infrastructure based on best of breed technologies (SNMP)
