The Job 

Lead by example as an individual contributor as QA Engineer, building and managing automated test scripts in a Core Java environment

  • Be a Player – Coach in an organization that builds RESTful APIs in a NoSQL environment
  • Act as true member of the team with increasing QA management responsibilities for a well funded startup
  • Be an Agile champion and/or ScrumMaster for a fast paced startup with continuous integration and multiple daily releases
  • Mentor a cross-functional team that’s focused on creating real solutions to large scale consumer based issues.
  • Create and implement enduring internal QA processes that will help scale the organization

The Skills

  • Demonstrated experience in building a strong QA team focused on testing RESTful APIs
  • High level skills in writing automated test scripts around a Java environment (skills in Python, C# or C++ are relevant, but Java is the language test will be written in)
  • Solid exposure to testing extremely large datasets
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proven dedication to TDD and Unit Testing
