They have a prime client base and an exciting future (yes, there are options as part of an offer). There’s also a ton of autonomy and no vacation policy. The is a small, respected, and proven team. They are beer lovers and athletes and none of them take themselves too seriously.

The Job

Everything you’ll code will be highly optimized backend core Java code (i.e. not J2EE/JEE). You’ll need to have 3+ years  of experience writing multi-threaded code and have a great background in concurrent data structures.  If you have worked with processing and storing data from multiple sources in parallel and in real time, all the better.

The Pay

You’ll be looking at a significant six figure salary, generous equity, and very competitive benefits with no set amount of vacation.

The Nice-to-haves

  • Hadoop/Hbase, Google BigTable, or other BigData/NoSQL system
  • Ruby on Rails / JRuby / Grails
  • MVC experience a plus
  • RESTful Frameworks
  • Querying systems such as Hornet or Kafka
